National HIV/AIDS Clinicians' Consultation CenterProgram DescriptionThe National HIV/AIDS Clinicians' Consultation Center provides health care providers with a national resource to obtain timely and appropriate responses to clinical questions related to treatment of persons with HIV infection and/or possible health care worker exposure to HIV and other blood-borne pathogens. National HIV Telephone Consultation Service (Warmline): 800-933-3413Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm EST. For questions about HIV/AIDS, including antiretroviral therapy, HIV clinical manifestations, laboratory evaluation, etc. National Clinicians' Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Hotline (PEPline): 888-HIV-4911 (888-448-4911)For questions about occupational exposures (eg, needle sticks, splashes) to HIV and other bloodborne pathogens. URGENT: Because of insufficient federal funding, the PEPline is temporarily unable to provide live hotline consultation between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. We will return overnight calls at 6 a.m. PST each day. National Perinatal HIV Consultation and Referral Services (Perinatal Hotline): 888-HIV-8765 (888-448-8765)For questions about the care of HIV-infected pregnant women as well as indications and interpretations of rapid and standard HIV tests. URGENT: Because of insufficient federal funding, the Perinatal HIV Hotline is temporarily unable to provide live hotline consultation between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. We will return overnight calls at 6 a.m. PST each day. for additional information and resources.
