Note: This conference will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011, in Atlanta, Georgia at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis Hotel. The conference aims to enhance understanding of how women's health and wellbeing are influenced by two highly-stigmatized and gendered national issues, HIV and violence against women. This event is intended for domestic violence, sexual assault, HIV/AIDS service providers, related social service providers, researchers, advocates, community educators, medical trainers, healthcare providers, and policy makers.

Note: If you missed the live program, "A Webinar Series on Women & HIV: Clinical Concepts from WHICC", held on June 22nd, The TX/OK AIDS Education & Training Center would like to invite you to take this opportunity to view the recorded sessions from this program. Clinicians attending will gain competencies in decreasing barriers for HIV testing, linkage to care, and retention in care for HIV infected minority women. This is a free webinar series consisting of experts in the field of treating women with HIV, which will feature an interactive web-based approach to learning. The TX/OK AETC prepared this event in response to the needs of those agencies and providers who might have limited resources for travel, yet are eager to obtain the information.
